 This week we rode barebacked! 

   Barebacked is when you ride without a saddle (the seat).

It was easier than I expected, even though I fell off my horse three times! Luckily, I was riding Billy, who wasn't that tall. I had so much fun trying this out.

Monopoly Run

  I went on a trip with my scouts group for an annual scout event called the Monopoly Run. It is based on the popular board game, Monopoly, and takes place in London. Thousands of scouts take part, competing within their own groups so hundreds of games take place on one day. Each team has a maximum of seven other competitor teams and the game is played between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm. The aim is to visit all the properties, buy as many as you can, and have the most money and assets by the end.

 Our group was given the name of Basildon and we were playing against six other teams. By the end of the day we owned 14 properties, had over 1,000 pounds, and had visited almost every property there was. 

We came first!

People in London may have seen several groups wearing neckerchiefs on the fifth of March. It is part of the scout uniform and was required to go on the trip.

I really loved the Monopoly run and hope to go again.

 This week we rode out to a park near the stables. We really enjoyed because it was our first time out. Nuha rode Bobby and I rode Olaf.

Holiday Fun !!!!!

We got a set of aquabeads as a gift. We loved them so much we finished them all and got a refill in three days.

I've started to try drawing horses. Here are my attempts. 

We got a really large box full of eight different jigsaw puzzles. We are really looking forward to finishing them all. Here is what we've already completed.
